You should expect these basics in every worship gathering: reading of the Bible, singing of Christian hymns, songs, choruses, and psalms, praying by Christian believers, fellowshipping of saints, and the preaching of God’s word. Regularly we will observe Believer’s Baptism and Communion.
We only ask that it be modest and not have offensive symbols or wording. You will find a wide variety of dress among our people. Dress is not what is most important to us.
We do provide child care for all our services. We do offer children’s church for ages 3-5 on Sunday mornings. Additionally, we have activities for kids each time we gather, Sunday AM, Sunday PM, and Wednesday PM.
We observe Communion at least one Sunday every month. We alternate the observance each month between the AM and PM worship gatherings. So, for example, if we observe Communion in January during an AM worship gathering, we will observe communion during a PM worship gathering in February.
We are a local church which participates in the Southern Baptist Convention. Most of our cooperation and work in the SBC is in the work of missions. We find the IMB a solid organization to work with to see the nations evangelized.
Fundamentally though, more than being a church in a denomination, we see ourselves as a local church, seeking to honor God by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
